It is your first visit of the Laurentides and you would like to discover every nooks and corners of the region? The Tour des Pays-d’en-Haut offers you a choice among three different guided bus tours, leaded by experienced guides. The visits vary from 3 hours to three and a half hours and make you discover the wealth of the region.
The first tour, Artists & Famous People in the Heart of the Laurentians, will take you around four villages, including Saint-Sauveur and Saint-Adèle. During your tour, the guide will tell you stories and anecdotes about the rich and famous people who live – or lived – in the region. Among these people are Jean-Paul Piopelle and Pierre Péladeau. The Pays-d’en-Haut Heritage Tour, for its part, offers you a foray into charming municipalities, located either along the panoramic road or along the country roads. During your tour, you will learn about the history of the villages and discover their attractions. You can add a commented cruise or a meal at the sugar shack to this tour. The last tour, A Retrospective: Mont-Tremblant… The Metamorphosis Continues!, presents Mont Tremblant as you have never seen it before. It is interesting to discover how this sector of the region changed throughout the years, from the clear-cutting industry to the tourism industry. A commented cruise can also be added to this tour.
These guided tours are conducted aboard a bus, but if you are not already travelling by bus, you can rent one at the Tour des Pays-d’en-Haut.
