Parc régional du bois de Belle-Rivière is a nature site with a unique atmosphere. An impressive mature forest cover, including a maple grove, represents the most part of this 176-hectare area. The park is host to a group of infrastructures which offers visitors many activities to enjoy nature throughout the year. Hiking trails are accessible and many picnic areas have been designed to answer the needs of families. During the summer season, visitors are also invited to go tease the rainbow trout at the ornamental garden where two fishing ponds are stocked. The park also offers the possibility of making a horseback ride with an experienced guide or a pony ride for children. In order to answer to the specific needs of groups, big tops can be rent and activities are available with a reservation. Big tops capacity ranges from 10 to 550 persons (for a meal) and all the conveniences are offered on site. A team with experience is available to answer to the specific needs of groups. The park also has 5 refuges, including one built on piles, which can welcome as much families as corporate groups whether its is to realise activity or spend an out-of-the-ordinary night. Many additional services are offered on site to answer your needs (ex.: shuttle service to carry equipment, barbecue rental or portable stove for corn, etc.). For the winter season, it is still possible to hike on our main trail (6 km) which is cleared of snow. It is also possible to cross-county ski (7 km) and snowshoe (off trail). Leashed dogs are accepted on the main trail.
